826 Boston is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting students ages 6 to 18 with their creative and expository writing skills, and to helping teachers inspire their students to write.

Our services are structured around the understanding that great leaps in learning can happen with one-on-one attention, and that strong writing skills are fundamental to future success.

Thanks For Joining Us At Books for Breakfast with David McCullough!

Thanks so much for joining us at Books for Breakfast with Pulitzer Prize winning author and historian David McCullough. If only we could start all of our days in such inspired company!

We would like to thank our supporters for their attendance and generous participation; the event was a smashing success. We've already raised over $70,000 to benefit 826 Boston's free youth writing programs.
