826 Boston is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting students ages 6 to 18 with their creative and expository writing skills, and to helping teachers inspire their students to write.

Our services are structured around the understanding that great leaps in learning can happen with one-on-one attention, and that strong writing skills are fundamental to future success.

GLOW: 826 Boston Workshop Participants Chosen as Finalists!


826 Boston is pleased to announce that three of our youth writers have been named finalists of the GLOW Ignite Change Essay Contest - congratulations to Jasmine Taylor, Franchesca Viaud, and Natesho Ali, who will each receive at minimum a $500 scholarship!

GLOW - Girls’ Leadership (GL) and Organized Women (OW) - led a writing workshop at 826 Boston in December for young women ages 12-19. Teen writers responded to the question: what would you change about the role of women in your community, city or school? The winner will be announced this April. Learn more about GLOW here.
