The World in Objects 2012
The World in Objects 2012 is a time capsule deck by the 5th graders of JFK Elementary School
in Jamaica Plain. Every card includes a hand-drawn image of an everyday object
(our favorites include Michael Jackson and Old Country Buffet) as well as a creative nonfiction piece
written by each a student.
This deck was inspired by an author visit sponsored by the Foundation for Children's Books
who brought author Susan Goodman into the classroom to talk about creative nonfiction.
