Your contribution will allow us to offer thousands of Boston area students free after-school tutoring, in-class support for local teachers, and creative evening and weekend workshops. Every little bit of support we receive makes a difference. All donations are fully tax-deductible.

A donation to 826 Boston means so much to our young writers:
- $3,500 allows us to publish a book of stories such as 2% of 2% of All the World's Stories, written by our after-school students.
- $1,000 is enough for one student to attend a whole year of after-school tutoring.
- $500 supports one student attending our summer science writing camp, "Fiddler Crabs, Millipedes, Leeches & Sea Serpents, Oh Yeah!"
- $250 is enough to create chapbooks for 20 weekend workshops like "Odes to Common Things" and "Words of the Wise."
- $100 allows a class to publish their own tall tale like Bud, the Grumpy Earthquake during a Bookmaking & Storytelling field trip.
To make a gift of stock, please contact Charles Huschle. Donating your appreciated securities is a great way to support 826 Boston and may offer you a significant tax advantage too.
Getting married? We'd be honored to be listed as your charity of choice. Many couples have asked their friends and relatives to donate to 826 Boston in lieu of a gift. Call us at 617-442-5400 if you have any questions!
Corporate Match. Does your company offer a matching gift program? Do they, like Starbucks, ExxonMobil, and other companies, donate for the hours you serve as a volunteer? Please email us to let us know!
