“Volunteering at 826 Boston is a circle of giving where ambitious, bright, creative students grasp their potential and run with their accomplishments. From completing homework to publishing books—it’s rewarding for them, so it’s rewarding for us—and I learn something every time I’m here. Just as reading and writing enrich our lives, volunteering at 826 does too.”
—Karen Lake, 826 Boston volunteer extraordinaire
