We’re thrilled to announce that we have a home, an abode, a bunch of brightly colored rooms to call our own. Yep, it’s true! We’ve signed our lease, sawdust is flying, and we’re planning to throw open our doors for business in the fall.
The 826 Boston writing lab and store will be located at 3035 Washington St. in Roxbury’s Egleston Square, a culturally diverse community that reaches into Jamaica Plain, Roxbury, and Dorchester. We’re neighbors with more than 20 Boston schools, a dance studio, the Boston Neighborhood Network, and a slew of interesting businesses and restaurants. We couldn’t be happier with our sunny new home, where we’ll offer drop-in tutoring, field trips, and workshops to students.
Hey, what about the store, you say? Give your thumb and index finger a lick and flip to crypto-zo-ology in your OED. That’s right, we’re making preparations to open up a cryptozoology supply store.
