826 Boston seeks mission-driven change-makers to join the 2021-2022 AmeriCorps VISTA cohort. AmeriCorps VISTA members at 826 Boston serve for 12 months, supporting our development, communications, publishing, out-of-school time, and programming teams. Through your year of service, you will enable 826 Boston to empower students to find their voices, tell their stories, and gain critical communication skills, all while developing your knowledge of school and community partnerships, cross-sector collaboration, and the day-to-day operations of a nonprofit organization.

All qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law. Reasonable accommodations will be considered for interviews and throughout the term of service upon request.

Update: All 2021-2022 positions have been filled! If you are interested in the 826 Boston AmeriCorps Writers’ Room Fellowship Program, please contact Catherine Gomez.
