It is so special when we can offer opportunities to showcase student authors alongside their famous counterparts. So far this fall, we have had the opportunity to do so twice. Oriana, age 11, featured in All This Ticking, read her story “Time Travel Tuesday” and introduced New York Times-bestselling author Ryan North at Brookline Booksmith. Oriana signed books for fans alongside Ryan. Later in the month, 826 Boston alumna Fabiana read her story “The Perfect Life”, which appeared in My Reflection, Before and After, before Nicole Chung and Celeste Ng discussed Chung’s critically acclaimed new book, All You Can Ever Know. The event took place at Porter Square Books in front of a standing-room only audience.
