KAYLA, she/her, 18, a determined senior in high school, wants nothing but the best for everyone she surrounds herself around. She aspires to be a good example for her two younger sisters and younger cousins. Her favorite song line is, “No such thing as a life that’s better than yours,” by J. Cole. Kayla is a thankful girl who comes from a first generation family and uses her voice to explore who she is. Kayla is proud to say she can identify herself like no other and is a very open-minded, balanced teenager with big goals. She is athletic, strong academically with a passion for science, and an overall optimistic friend and family member to many.
