37 publications featuring 711 students’ work

• Hosting sixteen public officials at our tutoring center and Writers’ Rooms during our Civic Leader Tutoring Week.

We’re already halfway through the school year and we have some big things ahead, including:

• Ribbon Cutting Celebration for the opening of the Writers’ Room in New Mission High School in February

Half Half Half Half Half Marathon at Jamaica Pond on April 17

Books for Breakfast on May 7 with award-winning author of Chain-Gang All-Stars Nana Kwame Adjei-Brenyah

• More house parties across Greater Boston to help raise funds and awareness

• Several dozen new student publications this spring

Night of 1,000 Stories Gala in October at City Winery Boston

And many more student publications from our tutoring center and six Writers’ Rooms in Boston public schools.
