Looking for a new podcast? Then don’t miss “Excuse My Culture,” a new podcast hosted by 826 Boston’s Youth Literary Advisory Board (YLAB).
The first season will emphasize the importance of youth voices and will explore topics ranging from politics and culture to writing and identity. Zariah, a YLAB member says, “This podcast allows YLAB to showcase the power that a teen can have through not only literature, but conversation as well.” You can listen to episodes below (with the most recent episodes listed first) or search for “Excuse My Culture” and listen on Spotify!
In the final episode of season one of “Excuse My Culture,” YLAB students talk with artist and student Zada.
In the third episode of “Excuse My Culture,” YLAB students talk with Kelsey, a poet and a student at Boston Teachers Union School.
The second episode features a conversation with student artist, poet, and rapper Tariq. Tariq is also a member of 826 Boston’s slam poetry team at the John D. O’Bryant School of Mathematics and Science
