Originally raised in Chicago, Lucy came to Boston for her MFA in Creative Writing from Emerson College. Coming from a family of educators, she has always been passionate about amplifying student voices and cultivating spaces in which they can share their stories. Before coming to 826 Boston, Lucy taught undergraduate writing courses at Emerson and Curry College and worked as the fiction editor for Redivider Journal. She looks forward to supporting students in this role as well and can’t wait to witness their creativity and power. When she isn’t reading psychological thrillers or working on her novel, she can be found running along the Charles River, spending time with her three bunnies, and exploring local cafes.
