Join us on Friday, June 24 for a celebration of the release of This Side of the Hill: Poetic Maps of Our Neighborhoods, a collection of poems and stories by 826 Boston’s Youth Literary Advisory Board (YLAB).
This Side of the Hill: Poetic Maps of Our Neighborhood is the second book published by YLAB and explores topics relating to spatial justice and gentrification. In the books, the student authors unravel the complexities of what it means to call a place home.
This event is free and open to all, and will be held at the Roxbury Branch of the Boston Public Library at 4:00 PM. Doors open at 3:30, so come early for refreshments and to purchase a book. RSVP here!
