Do you have what it takes to help plan 826 Boston’s first Literary Heptathlon?
Each year, our community of volunteers and supporters come together for a competitive fundraiser to support 826 Boston’s free programs. This year, we will be hosting a series of unusual competitions (mini-dictionary cornhole, anyone?) under the banner Boston 2016: A Literary Heptathlon. We would love your help to plan and implement this exciting series of events!
Our first event committee meeting is this coming Thursday, February 4th at 6:30pm at our center in Roxbury’s Egleston Square. This first meeting will be non-binding, so don’t worry if you are unsure about your ability to commit just yet. Just come, enjoy some free pizza, libations, and the boisterous company of fellow 826’ers as we start planning this shindig.
To RSVP, please complete this quick form. If you can’t make it but still want to participate in some way, email Chris to get connected to other ways to help (and don’t worry, there will be other meetings). Know someone who would love to participate – either as an organizer or a fundraising participant? Feel free to invite them! Can’t commit to the event committee, but still want to participate in the fundraiser? Complete this form and we will be in touch
