Virtual book release party: I Was Meant for This: Mayoral Speeches by Boston’s Young Leaders

Join us on Thursday, March 3 for a virtual celebration of I Was Meant for This: Mayoral Speeches by Boston’s Young Leaders, the newest publication from 826 Boston.

For this year’s Young Authors’ Book Project, students of all ages joined 826 Boston-led workshops to write their own inaugural addresses as Boston’s mayor-elect. These speeches—simultaneously playful, imaginative, and keenly observed—speak to an evolving city, as told through the eyes of tomorrow’s leaders.

We’re excited to celebrate the many accomplishments of these students during the virtual book release party. This is a free, invitation-only event. After you RSVP, you will receive an email with all the information you need to join the Zoom celebration.
