826 Boston Writers’ Room Manager Nakia Hill Chosen for Boston AIR

January 10, 2018

On Monday, January 8, Mayor Martin J. Walsh announced the City of Boston’s seven artists-in-resident. We’re especially excited to share that our Writers’ Room Manager Nakia Hill and our former Executive Director Daniel Johnson have both been named 2018 Boston AIR artists. As part of this program, they will carry out a year-long residency project revolving around the theme of resilience and racial equity at one of Boston’s Centers for Youth & Families (BCYF).
