Rise and shine! It’s almost time for Books for Breakfast, a jam-packed breakfast fundraiser benefitting 826 Boston’s free youth writing programs.

The annual event is back in-person for the first time in years and will start at 8:00 AM on November 17, 2022, at the More Than Words Bookstore (242 E Berkeley St., Boston). Attendees will enjoy breakfast, poetry and stories from 826 Boston students and alum, and a chance to connect with members from across the 826 Boston community. Seating is limited, so get your tickets while they last. You can reserve your seat here.

This year, we’re thrilled to have New York Times best-selling author Isaac Fitzgerald as our guest speaker.

Isaac Fitzgerald appears frequently on The Today Show and is the author of the New York Times bestselling memoir Dirtbag, Massachusetts, and the bestselling children’s book How to Be a Pirate; as well as the co-author of Pen & Ink and Knives & Ink (winner of an IACP Award). His writing has appeared in the New York Times, the Guardian, the Best American Nonrequired Reading, and numerous other publications. He lives in Brooklyn.

Can’t make it in person? No problem! We have a Pay-What-YouCan virtual option available.

Spots are limited so save your seat today.
