It is an honor to partner with Carrie Clifford and Gloria Harrison of Hard Candy & Fruit Snacks for the fourth year to award these scholarships to college-bound seniors who have participated in 826 Boston programming or attend Wayland METCO. Students applying for the scholarship submitted an essay about their dedication to social justice, and this scholarship will support these students in their pursuit of higher education.
To learn more about how the scholarship started, listen to this podcast episode with Carrie and Gloria—and hear from previous winners, too.
Congratulations to all the college-bound seniors!
