Student Podcasters Investigate Life’s Burning Questions

April 19, 2019

Three students recording a podcast.

“In which parts of your life do you use technology? What is your favorite video game and why? Are you more of a cat person or a dog person? How do you think we can help U.S. citizens learn more about the rest of the world?”

During April vacation week creative writing workshops at 826 Boston, students ages 9-11 investigated these questions in podcast form, with the help of instructors from the PRX Podcast Garage. In the two-part workshop, youth podcasters developed topics, explored an audience, crafted interviews, used field recording gear, and recorded their pilot episode.
