Student Portraits Featured at the Mayors Gallery

July 27, 2015

Through August 14th, 826 Boston will exhibit twelve photographs and stories from its 2012 collection I Want You to Have This downtown at the Mayors Gallery at City Hall (5th Floor). The photographs, taken by Jennifer Waddell, tell the story of what being in high school a world away from one’s birthplace is really like. Students born as far away as Rwanda and Puerto Rico share meaningful objects from their lives, from a silver spoon to a pair of wooden shoes. Be sure to catch this wonderful experiment in storytelling before the end of the month! Learn more about the exhibit here.
