Writers’ Room students working on the after-school, extracurricular Rubix literary magazine released their third volume of student art and writing this month, too. Rubix is funded in part by the Boston Cultural Council.

The theme of this Rubix edition was Supernatural, and students took that beginning to many unexpected and varied endings. We are so proud of the student editorial board’s hard work in making this edition of Rubix possible. Congratulations to Elijah Abarbanel, Robert Johnson, Jr., Jialin Zhen, Yalidys Peña, Aidan Shiell-Loomis, Ford Coplen, and Rupshana Kc.

“The sun doesn’t exist in this tiny town of ours, day in and day out we are met with gloom and a constant stream of never-ending rain.”

—Jonathan Duque, “House of the Dead”
