I sit in class
I know I’m young
But I wonder
What is love
Not by a friend
Not by a parent
But by a partner
I truly want
How do I know
He’s the one
How do I know
He feels the same
Don’t know who to ask
About these things that wander
Throughout my head I ponder
Day and night he’s in my mind
In my feelings it’s hard to rhyme
People ask me what is wrong
But my story is way too long
When will the time have come
When I finally find the one
